This program recruits women from the community and provides training and mentoring to help them become MCH Leaders to their neighborhoods to help improve birth outcomes. The GMCH leaders  are also members of the FIMR program CAT/CAN. These leaders were speakers at the Indiana State Department of Health Labor of Love Infant Mortality Summit in 2019. They educate women on resources, infant safe sleep, community gardens, assist women newly released from prison for a successful reentry.
